Contact Auburn AI – Calgary AI Workflow Consulting

Email Alexander Directly

There is no sales rep here, no intake form, and definitely no chatbot standing between you and an answer. Auburn AI is a sole proprietorship – when you write in, I read it and I reply. You can expect a response within one business day, and more often than not it comes the same evening.

Primary Contact

Send everything to alexander@auburnai.ca.

In the subject line, name the service tier that has your attention: Audit, Single Workflow, or Full Stack. That one word helps me come back to you with something useful instead of a generic acknowledgement.

What to Put in Your First Email

You do not need a polished brief or a requirements document. Three sentences is enough:

  1. One sentence on your business. What you do, roughly how big you are, what industry.
  2. One sentence on the process you want automated. Where data comes in, where it needs to go, what’s manual right now.
  3. One sentence on your timeline. Whether you need something running in three weeks or you’re still in the thinking stage.

That is genuinely enough for me to tell you whether we’re a fit, what tier likely applies, and whether the timeline is realistic. If I need more I’ll ask – but most of the time those three sentences get us moving.

What Happens After You Write In

The process is straightforward and there is nothing to sign before you see a price:

  • Discovery call – A 30-minute call scheduled within 5 business days of your first email. We talk through the process, the tools you already use, and what done looks like.
  • Written scope and CAD price – Within 5 business days after the call you receive a written proposal: what gets built, what’s out of scope, the fixed price in Canadian dollars, and the payment schedule.
  • No retainer required to see the proposal. You read it, ask questions, and decide. No commitment until you sign.

Hours and Response Times

Auburn AI operates on Mountain Time (Calgary, AB). I run this practice alongside other work, so the honest answer on timing is this: most replies go out between 17:00 and 22:00 MT on weekdays and during weekend mornings. If you write at 09:00 on a Tuesday, you will likely hear back that evening rather than within the hour. One business day is the firm commitment; same-day is common but not guaranteed.

If you are an active client with a time-sensitive issue, use support@auburnai.ca – that queue gets checked more frequently.

Other Email Addresses

For topics outside a new engagement inquiry, use the right address and you’ll get a faster, more useful reply:

  • billing@auburnai.ca – Invoice questions, payment confirmations, receipt requests.
  • legal@auburnai.ca – NDA requests, contract redlines, data processing agreements.
  • support@auburnai.ca – Active client support on a workflow that is already in production.

Where Auburn AI Does Not Operate

Being specific about this saves everyone time:

  • Fortune 500 procurement processes. If your organization requires a vendor portal, security questionnaire over 20 pages, or procurement committee approval to hire a consultant, we are not a fit. The overhead exceeds the engagement value at my price points.
  • US-only engagements. Auburn AI is a Canadian business. I work with Canadian clients and with US-based businesses that have Canadian operations or are comfortable contracting with a Canadian sole proprietor. I do not pursue engagements where a US entity requires a US-registered vendor.
  • On-site work. Everything is delivered remotely. I do not travel to client offices.
  • Real-time voice AI systems. Latency-sensitive voice interfaces and telephony automation are outside the current scope of what I build.
  • Replacing human judgment in high-stakes decisions. I build tools that help people work faster – not systems designed to make autonomous decisions in areas like medical diagnosis, legal determinations, or financial advice without human review. If that is the requirement, it is not the right engagement.

If you are unsure whether your situation fits, write anyway. The worst outcome is that I point you somewhere more useful.

Mailing Address

Auburn AI is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A formal mailing address (PO Box) is pending. For everything practical – proposals, contracts, invoices, questions – email is the right channel. Physical mail is not part of how this practice operates, and anything sent by post will be slower than an email to alexander@auburnai.ca by a wide margin.
